RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring passion and energy to an incredible team of professionals!
- Drive client and division growth through generating sales via hands on sales activities and strategies.
- Obtain executive search clients and recruitment opportunities for our internal executive search division nationally and in our key markets.
- Responsively and professionally impress inbound client leads and represent Scion Executive Search with excellence while building strong client relationship and partnerships.
- Identify and secure new client relationships via phone, email, in-person meetings and other methods. This includes a combination of daily active cold-calling, networking online/in-person and other activities to build relationships in the community! Get creative to make incredible connections for our team and socially conscious company!
- Enjoy the act of hunting and finding new business and meeting new people.
- Be successful at bringing in outside sales accounts that fit our Mission & Values and that are fillable and quality jobs for our devoted candidates and vast network.
- Follow-up with and engage current clients to build relationships, help ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed minimum billings for this position.
- Use social media weekly to continually develop a business pipeline.
- Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell other lines of business.
- Provide top of the line customer service to our clients!
WHO YOU ARE:
- 10+ years of working experience, to include one of the following:
- Director of Development, Executive Director, or Interim Director, Director of Partnerships (someone that has sold Sponsorships/made corporate partners) who has strong prior sales (of 3-5+ years of sales) experience in their background (prior experience in the corporate sector).
- Experience selling retained corporate search.
- Experience selling at a recruiting firm that is a true hunter and sold at a nonprofit search firm or corporate firm for high level contingent (prior exp. Selling ED/CEO, VP or C-Level searches such as multiple CFO, COO, CAO, CHRO) plus board experience.
- Must be able to gain the respect of all experience levels of board members, as this role heavily partners and sells to nonprofit board members.
- A passion for the executive search industry and empowering client success through our expertise of recruiting and search.

- A Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or equivalent relevant experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- A competitive base salary plus a strong uncapped commission plan allowing you to meet your compensation goals.
- Commission: successful performance in this role would be selling and bringing three to five+ new searches monthly from your expected outbound energy and delivery and our inbound leads if applicable. For each executive search brought via inbound leads provides a commission on average of $800 to $2,000+ depending on the level. Outbound sales commission can double. This provides between $32,000 and $96,000+ in yearly commissions. For high performers more can certainly be made.
- Base: This position provides a base salary of $80,000 to $90,000+ DOE.
- Fully paid health, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 80 hours of fully paid parental leave.
- Monthly cell phone and internet stipend that is equal to about $930 annually.
- 401k + employer contribution, after your 1st year.
- Strong Paid Time Off (PTO) annually plus increases the longer you work for us!
- Paid Sick Leave annually.
- Eleven (11) paid holidays are made available each year: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
