Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Plumbing Store Manager for immediate hire for our client, a leading importer and distributor of a broad line of plumbing and heating products. This is an exciting Full-Time opportunity located onsite in Monrovia, CA!
As the Plumbing Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, engage with staff, customers and vendors and maintain correct inventory levels!

As the Plumbing Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, engage with staff, customers and vendors and maintain correct inventory levels!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing all facets of store operations, encompassing sales, customer service, pricing, profitability, and customer perception.
- Engaging with customers to deliver the expertise necessary for generating and closing sales.
- Supporting both counter sales and outside sales activities.
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key vendors.
- Ensuring inventories are maintained at optimal levels, promoting sales, and upholding the branch's appearance.
- Facilitating product transfers and shipping processes.
- Identifying new product and business opportunities based on ongoing customer needs assessment.
- Spearheading sales growth initiatives to enhance profitability.
- Guaranteeing branch compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Managing employees and promptly reporting all personnel issues to Human Resources.
- Fulfilling any other responsibilities as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of leadership/management experience.
- Experience and market knowledge in the Plumbing Industry.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Capable of effectively leading and motivating individuals and teams.
- Skilled in interpreting marketing reports to analyze business groups, products, and customer segments.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
