Scion Nonprofit Staffing is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Orientation & Mobility Specialist to join our client's highly regarded organization in Northern California. This is a full-time, direct hire position with benefits!
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and consultative instruction for adults with vision loss
• Provide education and support to student families
• Administer assessments and craft corresponding report
• Maintain data collection and records
• Communicate and collaborate with various team members
Requirements:
• Hold current teaching certification for O&M or be eligible to apply for an intern O&M credential
• Able to transport between multiple work-sites on a daily basis
• Knowledge the special learning needs of people with vision loss
• Able to modify and adapt the home environment for safety
Compensation: This position offers a salary range of $80,000-$105,000 commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports your well-being and professional development.
