Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an Executive Assistant on behalf of our client, a highly regarded organization in Washington D.C. This is a full-time, remote, contract-to-hire opportunity with benefits!
Responsibilities:
-Provide comprehensive calendar management for the Vice President of Development, handling complex scheduling and resolving conflicts effectively.
-Ensure seamless coordination of meetings and events, balancing priorities and time-sensitive commitments.
-Manage special projects and oversee timelines, deliverables, and progress in support of the Vice President and Deputy Director of Development.
-Keep the Strategic Partnerships Team accountable for projects and commitments by tracking key deliverables and ensuring results.
-Prepare for organizational meetings, including Leadership Team and external partner meetings, by assembling agendas, materials, and follow-up plans.
-Work with the Vice President of Development to prepare updates and materials for board presentations, staff updates, and strategic discussions.
-Support the creation and distribution of professional correspondence, including memos, talking points, and reports.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders of the Strategic Partnerships Team, ensuring professional and timely communication.
-Coordinate logistics and communication for advocacy campaigns and funder engagement efforts.
-Maintain an organized electronic filing system and tools for efficient operations and access to critical information.
-Manage travel arrangements for the Vice President and Strategic Partnerships staff, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
-Oversee expense reimbursements and invoicing for the Vice President of Development, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
-Maintain and update Salesforce records to track funder relationships, communications, and engagement activities accurately.
-Generate reports and dashboards to monitor fundraising progress and identify opportunities for follow-up.
-Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and recommend enhancements to improve team workflows.
-Conduct initial research on potential funders to align opportunities with organizational priorities.
-Create detailed donor profiles, including giving history and funding interests, to inform engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
-4+ years of providing support to an executive or an executive team
-Experience working in a nonprofit or philanthropic organization
-Knowledge of Database Systems (Salesforce, CRM, QuickBooks) preferred
Pay Rate:
