Scion Nonprofit Staffing is currently seeking a Foundation Director for an impactful nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the Jewish community! This role is full-time, direct-hire and hybrid- 2-3 days per week in the Downtown Seattle office and 2-3 days remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute strategies, set KPIs, and track progress.
  • Align fundraising with the Director of Development to increase impact.
  • Manage donor acquisition and stewardship to grow assets.
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage staff, including recruitment and training.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the grant-making process and fiscal approval.
  • Address legal and accounting issues, seeking counsel when needed.
  • Oversee donor and regulatory reporting for transparency.
  • Support Finance in implementing internal controls and audits.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Build relationships with advisors and community stakeholders to support the mission.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong background in fundraising, donor relations, planned giving, or Foundation management.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively both as a leader and team member.
  • Strategic thinker with experience implementing organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of planned giving, estate planning, and fundraising techniques.
  • Legal, tax, or financial background a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
In addition to being part of an organization with a fantastic mission and positive, team-oriented culture, the annual salary for this role ranges from $110,000-125,000yr, depending on experience plus a benefits package including 401k + matching, PTO, paid time off for national holidays and Jewish holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and more!
