We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven AI Client Sales Director, North America to join our client’s rapidly expanding team! The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a proven track record in B2B client acquisition, excelling at building relationships from the ground up. This role requires exceptional market expansion skills, the ability to identify and qualify target customers, and expertise in international lead generation, product demos, and telemarketing to drive global business growth.

This remote role can be based anywhere in the US, preferably in California, with a sales/development target market of North America. The travel expectations are 25-50%.

Key Duties:

  • B2B Client Acquisition- Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups, cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Manage Sales Pipeline- Maintain and track prospects in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate reporting.
  • Qualify Leads- Assess potential customers’ needs, qualify leads, and evaluate product fit to drive high-quality conversions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies, enhance sales materials, and improve conversion rates.
  • Customer Research- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to drive strategic business expansion.
  • Customer Insights and Feedback- Provide actionable insights to product and marketing teams based on customer interactions to optimize messaging and offerings.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum.
  • Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in business development, with a high preference for B2B SaaS or AI industry experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English with ability to  convey persuasion and confidence in client presentations.
  • Strong understanding of business growth from 0 to 1, the process of building a product from its conceptualization to its first successful launch and iteration.
  • Personal Attributes: Holds a mix of soft skills, strategic thinking, adaptability, and is proactive, self-motivated, persistent and active listener.

Compensation and Benefits:
This remote role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with sales territory of North America. Our client offers a competitive base salary of $250,000- $300,000+ (depending on experience), plus additional bonuses bringing total 1st year OTE to $500K with great performance + great benefits.
