Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Litigation Paralegal on behalf of our client, a well-known personal injury law firm based in Atlanta, GA. This is full-time, on-site, contract-to-hire position ready for immediate hire!

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting motions, briefs, and discovery documents in Georgia litigation matters.
  • Manage and coordinate the e-filing process using Georgia-specific e-filing systems for state court filings.
  • Research and compile relevant legal precedents and statutes using platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Maintain and organize case files, including discovery documents, pleadings, and correspondence in document management software.
  • Oversee the service of process for court filings and documents, ensuring proper and timely perfection of service.
  • Prepare and manage exhibits for court hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff as needed, providing updates and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and hearings.

Qualifications:
  • Experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on drafting motions, briefs, and discovery.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation and civil procedures.
  • Proficient with Georgia-specific e-filing systems, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and document management software.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in legal documents and filings.
  • Proactive with strong initiative in supporting attorneys and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $40-$48, a monthly technology stipend, medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
