Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Recruiter on behalf of our client, a produce distributor in Seattle, WA. This is an on-site, contract position ready for immediate hire!

Perks:
  • Pay rate of $27-$32/hr!
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week! M-F schedule, 8 – 4 pm (with flexibility!)
  • Ability to work in-person with an engaging team!
  • Immediate start available!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage job postings in the ATS, and publish openings on job boards
  • Review and screen incoming candidates, moving them forward through the recruitment process
  • Coordinate and schedule both virtual and in-person interviews for hiring managers
  • Perform reference checks, background screenings, and drug tests for new hires
  • Support new hire onboarding, including completing paperwork such as employment authorization, direct deposit forms, W-4, etc.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on the hiring and interview process

Qualifications:
  • Previous full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Strong communication skills (phone and written)
  • Knowledge of national and local hiring laws (e.g., ban the box, WA Equal Pay, Fair Credit Reporting)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, cloud-based ATS, and job boards (Indeed, Monster, LinkedIn)
Compensation:
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $27-32, a monthly technology stipend, medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week. An employee retirement plan is also available.
