Scion Technology has been engaged to lead an IT Support Specialist search on behalf of our client, a successful and established company in the technology sector. Our client is located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and this role is for immediate, direct-hire!

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Providing remote and onsite technical support for end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring consistent service delivery standards.

  • Implementing and maintaining a centralized service desk operation to deliver consistent, high-quality enterprise-wide support.

  • Assisting in deploying and optimizing AI-enhanced service capabilities to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

  • Standardizing support processes and establishing service level definitions and monitoring for continuous improvement.

  • Managing service requests and incidents via the ticketing system, ensuring appropriate escalation paths are defined and followed.

  • Coordinating with managed service providers and fostering effective vendor relationships to optimize service delivery.

  • Training IT staff on evolving support processes, technologies, and customer service best practices as standards are updated.

  • Setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting computer equipment and applications according to both established and newly developed configuration standards.

  • Analyzing incident patterns and developing recommendations to proactively reduce service desk incident rates.

  • Contributing to the creation of infrastructure standards and monitoring KPIs for the Digital Workplace Services domain.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver technical support, training, and guidance to both users and IT staff.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, enabling effective prioritization and completion of projects within established timelines.

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service support while continually identifying areas for improvement.

  • Comprehensive understanding of internet security and data privacy principles to safeguard company IT assets and ensure data integrity.

  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Proficiency in executing system updates, backups, and security measures to improve system reliability and performance.

  • Analytical capabilities to assess incident reports and recommend strategies for minimizing service desk incident rates.

  • Strong customer service orientation focused on enhancing end-user satisfaction and productivity.

  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced service tools and automation technologies preferred.

  • Expertise in service desk operations, ticketing systems, and implementing efficient support processes.

  • Practical experience with Office 365 setup and support, Active Directory, basic networking, Windows, and network cabling.

  • At least 5 years of relevant IT support experience, demonstrating increasing responsibilities and leadership capabilities.
