Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Receptionist for an established staffing firm in Oakbrook, IL.

This position is 100% onsite and starts this Monday, March 31st. Schedule is Mon-Thurs 10am-4pm.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Receptionist to support daily operations in a fast-paced staffing firm specializing in convention center placements. This role involves managing high call volumes, handling spreadsheets, and assisting with email prioritization while maintaining excellent communication with both employees and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls (up to 50 per day) from employees calling in for schedules.
  • Navigate and update spreadsheets, including verifying formulas and entering data accurately.
  • Prioritize and sort through incoming emails for the Office Manager, ensuring urgent matters are addressed promptly.
  • Transfer calls and communicate effectively using a multi-line phone system.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to employees and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to check and manage formulas.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage high call volumes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage email communications effectively.
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role is a plus.
  • Must live within 10 miles of Oak Brook, IL.
