Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Grant Manager for a mission-driven client. This temporary, on-site opportunity is based in Katy, Texas.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Grant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s grant portfolio, ensuring compliance, tracking fund utilization, and meeting reporting deadlines. This role collaborates with finance, program, and leadership teams to maintain accurate records, draft compelling proposals, and streamline grant processes. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills to assess the impact of grant-funded initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, submit, and track grant proposals, applications, and reports.

Maintain relationships with funders and explore new funding opportunities.

Ensure compliance with grant terms, guidelines, and reporting requirements.

Monitor programmatic outcomes and financial reports to ensure accountability.

Collaborate with internal teams to align grant-funded initiatives with organizational goals.

Manage grant calendars, documentation, and data systems effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years proven experience in grant writing, grant management, and nonprofit fundraising.

Strong knowledge of grant compliance, financial oversight, and reporting processes.

Experience with Raisers Edge/Financial Edge or Apricot.

Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and outcome measurement.

Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
COMPENSATION:
This exciting opportunity offers a competitive pay range of $31-35/hr and is on a full time schedule, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
