Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Litigation Paralegal for a respected organization in the legal services industry based in West Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, in-office role, working Monday through Friday.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be part of a dynamic team providing litigation support for a leading firm specializing in insurance policyholder representation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's civil litigation efforts, drafting documents, managing discovery processes, and coordinating with clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drafting discovery responses and propounding discovery to support ongoing litigation cases

• Coordinating and communicating with clients to answer discovery and ensure timely responses

• Preparing and filing documents with the court to ensure case progression

• Managing the logistics of depositions, including drafting notices and subpoenas

• Requesting and organizing medical records when necessary for case preparation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, including drafting discovery documents and preparing court filings

• Bachelor's degree and four or more years related experience working as a litigation paralegal
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited paralegal program is a plus
• Background in the medical field (e.g. former nurse) is a plus, but not required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
