Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a temporary Administrative Assistant for an incredible school in Mercer Island, WA. This position is onsite and will run for two months, starting on April 21st. The school is dedicated to creating an inclusive, supportive environment and providing personalized support to students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Administrative Assistant will be a key contributor in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional support to both students and families. The ideal candidate will be patient, organized, and able to manage varied schedules while offering assistance to students and engaging with parents. This role requires someone who can quickly adapt, learn individual student needs, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for all.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist students during passing periods, ensuring they receive the support they need.
Manage and coordinate student schedules, ensuring all needs are met efficiently.
Handle package distribution and track deliveries for students and staff.
Provide front desk support, including answering calls, managing inquiries, and directing them to appropriate departments.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and vendors, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with students, particularly those with diverse learning needs (neurodiversity experience a plus).
Strong vendor management skills and ability to coordinate resources effectively.
Front desk or administrative experience, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and shifting priorities.
Friendly and welcoming demeanor, with excellent interpersonal skills.
WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $24 - $25 per hour, along with the flexibility of remote work.
