Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Development Associate for a dynamic and mission-driven nonprofit organization that empowers and supports individuals who are deeply committed to making a meaningful impact. This organization is dedicated to providing vital resources and support to courageous individuals serving in a global context. The role is hybrid, with an office located in Atlanta, GA.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This exciting role is focused on deepening the presence of the organization in the Southeastern United States. You will work closely with local teams to build strong donor relationships, manage a portfolio of supporters, and execute strategic fundraising initiatives to meet ambitious goals. Your work will contribute to creating impactful change and strengthening community engagement across multiple states.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cultivate and steward a portfolio of approximately 150 donors, with a focus on expanding relationships across the Southeastern region.
  • Plan and execute small, engaging events to drive awareness and deepen community involvement.
  • Create personalized engagement strategies for prospective and existing donors, ensuring they remain connected to the organization's mission.
  • Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records, track donor interactions, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Collaborate with regional and national teams to align fundraising efforts and meet goals effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a persuasive and personable approach.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and driven by a sense of urgency to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems (experience with Raiser’s Edge is a plus).
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region and attend occasional evening or weekend events.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
In addition to a competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000.00 to $85,000.00, this role offers a comprehensive benefits package.
