Scion Nonprofit has been engaged to conduct the search for an experienced, professional Recruiter to provide support to a dynamic, fast-paced nonprofit organization based in Oakland, CA! This is a remote, full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity!

The ideal candidate is someone with experience in full-cycle recruiting, providing administrative support to various departments and is passionate about nonprofit community initiatives that serve individuals and families!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the primary point of contact for all prospective candidates; conduct phone screens, both in-person and virtual interviews, and schedule meetings
• Maintain basic knowledge of ATS; Greenhouse preferred
• Construct enticing job postings, propose unique techniques to attract candidates
• Lead the pre-employment and on-boarding process for all hires including processing of benefits and contracts
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to ensure all HR documents coincide with developing labors laws, policies, and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field
• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Familiarity with ATS software, Greenhouse preferred, and social networking sites for recruiting
• Proven experience in independently leading hiring practices (sourcing, screening, interviews, skill assessments, and offers)
