In-Home Caregivers Part-time & Full-time

Scion Staffing is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and empathetic professional looking for a career with profound purpose. We are seeking experienced caregivers or individuals with related health/service experience interested in helping care for a kind, friendly, and retired professional in their home setting.

These full-time 9am to 5pm positions, or part-time weekend, evening, and fill-in roles are for immediate hire. We are seeking positive, thoughtful, and dependable professionals interesting in using their skills to help another person in need and provide thoughtful caretaker support. Duties include:

• Working in a positive environment supporting a very worthy senior with their daily care
• Caring for a kind person who is positive to be around
• Sitting and standing support
• Assisting with any needed daily tasks, or homeset tasks such as light housekeeping as needed (the home is also cleaned professionally)
• Positive verbal guidance and support
• Daily schedule reminders and oversight
• Helping to coordinate and greet appointments
• Assisting with three simple meal preparations; one on arrival, one at lunch, and one at the end of the day.
• Minor cleaning up after daily activities and dishes to support the functioning of the home
• Supporting the daily routine of the person being cared for, by helping get the paper, adjust technology in the home, or simple administrative tasks such as making calls or arranging
• Consistent and ongoing oversight to make sure they are safe
• Having some conversations and providing some companionship while helping with daily tasks around the home
• Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations
• Provide empathy, compassion, and kindness
• Be a reliable, dependable and on time caretaker
• Reporting how the day went via email and also outlining any supplies the home needs.

Compensation & Benefits

These positions start right away and pay between $16.00 and $20.00 hourly depending on experience, plus provide health benefits, and a 401k plan. This position can be permanent/long term and is an extremely rewarding role.
