Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an Engineering Technician for our client located in Boulder, CO! In this role, the Engineering Technician will be a vital part of the lab team, follow procedures to construct electronic devices, set up and execute tests on products, and maintain lab equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position for immediate hire, working on-site at a start-up company with solid backing and support! This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. As a cautionary measure, our client is asking all employees to be fully vaccinated by the date of hire. What you'll do:
  • Assemble and test electronic devices
  • Record and analyze data from tests
  • Maintain reproducibility while keeping an eye out for process improvements
  • Keep lab space clean
 
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High School degree or GED
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in research, quality, assembly, or production
  • Experience in a lab setting or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to follow step by step processes and procedures accurately
  • Ability to understand and follow scientific techniques
  • Associates degree  or certification in Engineering, Pre-Engineering, Electronics, Quality or related field is a plus
 
Compensation:
This full-time permanent position is a wonderful opportunity to work at a growing company! The targeted salary for this role is $55,000 to $68,000 depending on experience plus benefits paid for by the company, and stock options!
