Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Audit Manager for our client, an innovative company that provides customized and cost-effective accounting services. This is an exciting Full-Time, Hybrid Direct-Hire opportunity located in San Francisco, CA!

As the Audit Manager, you will perform audits of a client’s financial and information systems, assessing compliance with applicable standards and guidelines and sufficiency of internal control. You will oversee a team of 3; together supporting 5-6 audit clients. Your auditing knowledge along with your skills in management and building positive relationships will help you succeed in supporting this company!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work face-to-face with clients to find creative solutions to complex accounting and business challenges
• Perform audits of financial records, statements, and reports, verifying accuracy and consistency
• Perform audits of information systems, assessing compliance with data security and storage requirements
• Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients
• Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature 'trends' and technical issues relevant to the client's industry
• Build and manage client relationships and accounts including driving the client experience on engagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of current and/or recent financial statement audit and review experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience
• 5+ years of managing client relationships
• Bachelor's degree In Accounting/Finance
• CPA license
• Proficiency with AdvanceFlow or Engagement preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $160,000 annually, and it is a wonderful opportunity to further develop your career.
