Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Associate Construction Manager for our client, a national Nonprofit organization dedicated to building homes and communities in Sunriver, OR. This is a wonderful, onsite, full-time, direct hire opportunity with a mission driven team!
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Reviews drawings and subcontractor proposals.
  • Orders materials.
  • Supervises and inspects work performed by volunteers and subcontractors as required.
  • Interfaces cordially with inspectors and staff.
  • Trains volunteers to accomplish assigned tasks and use necessary tools.
  • Reviews and becomes familiar with practices manuals.
  • Monitors and maintains safe practices on the work sites
  • Accomplishes organization’s training that is required and maintain that qualification.
  • Responds promptly to emergencies on the work sites
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years’ experience with home construction.
  • Ability to accomplish a variety of construction tasks and learn other tasks
  • Licensure in the State of Oregon as a General Contractor or ability to obtain that license.
  • Ability to instruct and train volunteers.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours.

COMPENSATION:
This opportunity offers an annual salary of $80,000 to $95,000 (depending on experience) as well as paid time off!
