Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an Accountant for our client, a rapidly growing and dynamic IT services organization! This is a hybrid, full-time, direct-hire opportunity! Our client is based in Centreville, VA and offers an incredible career opportunity to work hands-on with a passionate team! 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Maintain General Ledger and conduct the monthly closings
  • Oversee the Accounts Receivable process, specifically for billable hours
  • Prepare the monthly Profit and Loss Statements and review them with the President
  • Reconciliation of the cash accounts and bank statements
  • Ensure Customer Accounts are correct and current
  • Oversee the purchase of goods and services

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Hands-on experience working in accounting paired with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks required
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles with third party service providers, general ledger coding/entry, reconciliations, and collections.
  • Experience in AR of third party service providers

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
In addition to working for an organization with a phenomenal mission and positive team-oriented work environment, this position offers a salary range of $65K- $75K DOE.
