Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Program Manager for an established medical nonprofit in San Jose, CA! This is a full-time, onsite, direct-hire opportunity!

The ideal person for this role will have a strong background in program management and leadership, preferably in the nonprofit space or supporting individuals with disabilities. They will possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and build collaborative partnerships with community organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan, execute, and assess initiatives designed to meet the needs of individuals with vision impairments.
  • Oversee and mentor staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure personalized, high-quality services by addressing individual needs and tracking progress.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with external organizations to expand program impact and outreach.
  • Coordinate financial planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient and impactful program delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and funding requirements while preparing detailed reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support the organization’s mission by aligning programs with long-term strategic objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or Rehabilitation Services; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in program management or a comparable role, ideally within the nonprofit sector and serving individuals with disabilities.
  • Skilled in leading diverse teams with empathy, collaboration, and a focus on achieving results.
  • Strong knowledge of issues affecting individuals with vision impairments.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This wonderful career opportunity allows you to work with a brilliant and dedicated team! The salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 annually DOE. Additionally, this role offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities!
